Heavy Metal Pioneers to Co-Headline Concert in Omaha Next Spring
Metallica and Slayer to Rock the CenturyLink Center
Two of the most iconic heavy metal bands of all time, Metallica and Slayer, will co-headline a concert at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, next spring.
The show is scheduled for May 12, 2023, and tickets go on sale this Friday, October 14, at 10 a.m. CT.
This will be the first time that Metallica and Slayer have co-headlined a tour together since 2011.
Metallica
Metallica is one of the most successful heavy metal bands of all time, having sold more than 125 million albums worldwide.
The band has won nine Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
Metallica's most recent album, "Hardwired... to Self-Destruct," was released in 2016.
Slayer
Slayer is one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, known for their dark and aggressive sound.
The band has released 12 studio albums, and has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards.
Slayer's most recent album, "Repentless," was released in 2015.
Concert Details
The Metallica and Slayer concert will be held at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 12, 2023.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 14, at 10 a.m. CT.
