No Appearance in Qatar for DPRK

North Korea has officially withdrawn from qualification for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed on Sunday. The AFC confirmed that the DPRK has pulled out of next month's qualifying tournament, which is scheduled to be held in a centralized format in Qatar.

A Return to Qualification

North Korea's withdrawal marks a setback for the team, which had been hoping to return to the World Cup after missing out on the 2014 and 2018 editions. The DPRK's last appearance at the World Cup was in 2010, when they finished bottom of their group with three defeats in three matches.
