Furiosa Coming to Theaters in 2024
Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth Star in Academy Award-Winning Prequel
Set in a post-apocalyptic world 15 to 20 years before the events of Fury Road, Furiosa stars Taylor as a young version of the character originally played by Charlize Theron.
The film follows Furiosa as she joins forces with a group of rebels to escape the clutches of a tyrannical warlord. Hemsworth plays Dementus, the warlord's right-hand man.
The film is directed by George Miller, who also directed the original Mad Max trilogy and Fury Road. Miller co-wrote the screenplay with Nico Lathouris.
Furiosa is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
